About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I have a 3 hr layover in China, but i will not leave airport. Do I need a transit visa

No transit visa is needed for three-hour stay in a domestic airport. If you want to leave the airport and tour around, you need to apply for the stay permit at the airport.
