About:Beijing Subway

BEIJING airport to Peking University

I arrive at Capital International airport T2 this Sunday at 5pm. After clearing customs i would like to catch the subway to Zhongguanyuan Global Village which is next to Peking University. Can someone PLEASE instruct me on the easiest way to do this as I am quite scared and worried and not sure what my options are. Also I am not sure how far the station is from the hotel and whether I can walk it or need to catch a taxi from there.

You are suggested to take airport shuttle bus to Zhongguancun directly. After arriving, just take a taxi to Peking University directly. The taxi fare is about CNY 15.
Where is your hotel? It is nearby the university?
If yes, it's suggested to take a taxi.

I've been told the taxi can cost over CNY 250... that's why I was considering the subway. The hotel is next to the university. I done understand your reference to the airport shuttle...? Not sure where they go or how they work.

No, it is not true. As I know, the cab fare to your destination would be CNY120 or around. The shuttle bus line 5 (Zhongguancun line) can be easily taken in any termimal of the airport. After landing, you can find that by following the clear guiding signs.
