Passport validity requirements for HK and Macau

I'm planning to go to Hong Kong and Macau this December 26, 2014. My passport will expire on May 23rd, 2015. Since by next month my passport validity will be under 6 months, can I still enter Hong Kong and Macau without renewing it first? Thank you.

It is not very sure about the Macau, but you can enter HK smoothly. For entering HK, the minimum validity of the passport is around one month, so please do not worry. Probably, it is the similar situation with Macau. If you can provide departure time from Macau, you can still enter without problems.
