About:Visa Policy of China

i am a uk citizen i want to travel to shangai for 3 days. do i need a visa?

Well, you may make use of 72 hours free transit to avoid applying one in advance, for example, you can fly from UK to Shanghai and then HK. Then you can fly back to UK directly from HK. This route is ok for 72 hours free transit in Shanghai.
