About:Chinese Embassy in Egypt

Is it possible to apply for Chinese Visa from Egypt and I travel to China from UK?

Hi
My name is Ibrahim Abdallah, PhD student at UK; I will attend a workshop in China on 20th January and I planning to return to Egypt for holiday.
My questions are as following:
Is it possible to apply it from Egypt and I travel to China from UK?
And how long it takes to get it and what the required document?

It is possible to apply it in Egypt and go from UK and before going, it is suggested to contact the embassy for making sure. It takes around four working days to get it.

The documents are: your valid passport, an application form, a recent taken photo, your hotel bookings, round trip tickets to China, your proof of legal status in Egypt.
