About:China Visa Exemption

German Passport Holders, currently on Tourist Visa in Shanghai issued in Austria - use of 72 hours

Can we use the 72 hours free transit policy under following conditions:
Booked flight Air China, Munich-Shanghai Pudong-Munich (first lef of flight has been used to enter China with valid Visa issued in third country Austria, where we reside)
Now booking a flight from Shanghai-Pudong - Denpasar (Bali) - Shanghai-Pudong
Stay then 72 hours back in Shanghai on free transit policy then Use 2nd leg of booked flight Air China Shanghai-Pudong - Munich.
Sorry complicated as we are German passport holder with flight from and back to Munich, but the current one we in China has been issued in Vienna, Austria as we live in Austria and not Germany

Marion, your whole route should be Munich-Shanghai-Denpasar-Shanghai-Munich, right? I think you can make use of 72 hours free transit at Pudong airport because your route (Denpasar-Shanghai-Munich) meets the requirements.
