is there a diffrence in southern or northern chinese food or what people eat on mid autmn festival?

Hey, southern Chinese people prefer to eat rice as their staple food. In northern China, they prefer to eat noodles and other food made of flour. On the Mid Autumn Day, both southern and northern Chinese eat moon-cakes.
