Indian citizen living in Japan - Tourist Visa

Hi,

Myself and family would like to visit Beijing and Shanghai for tourist purpose (1 week). We are residing in japan for the past 15 years on working permit.

What kind is required to visit China and what is the procedure and fees? Thanks.

Since you all lived in Japan for a long time, you have a resident permit, right?
If so, you need to prepare the permit, your valid passport, an application form, your round trip tickets to China and hotel bookings in China for application.
For your situation, you may need to find a local tour agency to help you to apply. If you only apply for a single entry one, the fee is 3000 Yen per person.
