About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do i Meet the requirements of the 72h free transit?

Hi, i'm German, i've a Tourist L for china for 2 months, but Single entry.
Now i'm Planning to go to Hongkong and Then to bali and fly back to Beijing ( to catch my already Booked flight back to Germany). The Visa will at the Time of my flight back still be valid but Since its only One entry i believe its as if i dont have it. Can i hence Apply for the 72h Transit in Beijing Or will i Face Complication?

Your trip from Bali to Beijing and then to Germany qualified for the 72-hour free transit.

You mean you already have a Chinese visa, but you do not want to use it? If so, you can try to tell the officer that you just want to enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy. Probably, the officer will consider your ideas.

You can further consult the immigration at the Beijing airport for confirming this issue and their number is 0086-10-56095400.
