How to travel from Hong kong to macau?

we will stay in HK and would like to visit as well macau just for the whole day, is it possible?

Yes, it is possible to have a round trip between the two cities in a day. You can easily take a ferry at China Ferry Teminal, Kowloon or HK-Macau Ferry Terminal to Macau. After your visiting, go to Maritime Ferry Terminal to take a late ferry back to Hk.

Hi, for your family visit, ferry is also the best choice. And it is fine to tour around by yourself without joining a package, for there are many English signs on the streets.

The social order is good in Macao, so you can roam around at nights, but don't be too late.
