About:Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport

Transfer of Luggage from one Airline to another at Chongqing Airport

We are taking a flight from Shanghai to CQ on China Eastern. Then, we are taking a second flight from CQ to Lhasa on China Southern. Will they transfer luggage or do we have to pick our luggage up and recheck in? Would we have to go through customs?

You need to pick up your luggage and recheck it. And you also need to go through the security check.
