About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is my route ok for 72 hours free transit?

I am flying from Malaysia to Shanghai, stay there 2-3 days and then flying to Beijing for 2 days, and then fly back to Shanghai stay 1-2 more days, and then fly back to Malaysia.

In this case, you should apply for a L type before you go to China.
