Validity of passport to enter China on a 10 day visit

I hold a Sri Lankan Passport. I have already visited China thrice on my passport. My passport expires on 28th April 2015. I plan to enter China on business on 1st Nov 2014, and leave on 10th Nov 2014. Ten day stay in China . My question is , when I enter China on the 1st Nov. my passport will be valid for 5 months & 27 days. Will this be an issue for the Chinese Immigration ?

You will likely be denied boarding on the flight into China. China's entry requirement is a passport with six months validity. It doesn't matter that yours is so close to six month. If you do get landed in China, you will be formally refused/deported. You really do not want this record as it will make it difficult or impossible to obtain a visa in the future.

Suggest you to move your flight up by four days, as it is the validity time upon entry, not exit.

Personally speaking, if you can provide your leaving ticket when passing the immigration, it will not affect a bit problem to enter China, since there are only four days.
