About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit visa in Kunming

I am Filipino with UAE residence visa... i have stop-over in Kunming China for 20 hours. I want to go out and see China while waiting for my connecting flight. Would it be possible to get VOA or transit type upon arrival on airport?

Since you only stay for 20 hours, the VOA and Transit G types are not required and they are not possible. You can just simple apply for stay permit at the airport to leave the airport for traveling around the China.
