About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Landing in Shanghai, with the 72hours permit, it is impossible to just take a train, visit Hangzhou?

You are not allowed to leave Shanghai if you plan to enjoy the 72-hour free transit, so it is impossible to visit Hangzhou by train.
