i understand that there are 2 bus lines (eastwest) to go to jiuzhaigou from chengdu.

Question

1)May I know what is exactly the difference and which is better? 2)Both east and west line take the same time to reach jiuzhaigou?3)Should I take bus from New south gate bus station or Chadianzi bus station? Does both bus station offers east and west line buses?

What you said east line and west line are maily  for reference for the self-driving travelers. If you take the bus to the valley, I suggest you take the bus from New South Gate (Xinnanmen) Station to reach there. Most the buses follow the East Line, during the bus journey, it will pass the Dujiangyan Reservoir.
