first time traveler in beijing

Question

Hello, I am a first time air traveler. I will came from Manila, Philippines and will arrive at PEK then will after 7 hours (layover) of waiting I will be transferred to a new plane going to US which will be arriving in IAD. My question is what should I do after arriving in PEK? Is there any instruction that I may use or can you to what I should I do and where should I go so that I may not left by the plane going to US. I am a first timer so please help me

As you are a first travelers there and your transit time is so limited, you'd better stay in the airport to catch your next flight. There are hourly lounges in the airport for your convenience. Well, if U really wanna get out of the airport for a short visit, take Airport Express to Dongzhimen and take a taxi to Tiananmen Square. You can enjoy the world largest square and the nearby attractions. As well as that, you can see the famous Forbidden City from outside. By spending 2-3h there, you need to get back to the airport for your flight.
