72 hour visa kunming

Question

Hi, we are flying one-way from Canada to KM via Beijing (no direct flights to the city available) and then to Kuala Lumpur less than three days later. As we arrive and leave Beijing from terminal three (thus not leaving the airport) do we still qualify for the 72hr via in KM? Thanks!

I'm afraid not. To use the policy, you can just stopover once in China. Anyway, if your total transit time in Beijing and KM is within 24h, you can apply for a stay permit in Beijing and then u are allowed to leave Beijing Airport and Changshui Airport fotr visiting. If for longer, you have to apply for a visa in advance.
