About:Lijiang Travel

Is Shangri La accessible in early Jan? I would like to visit Baishuitai.

would u recommend it as a Day trip from LiJiang? I have limited time, would also like to visit the gorge area. How would you recommend to structure the trip?

Yes, Shangri-la is accessible in early Jan. However, to ensure an efficient and secure trip, you are recommended to rent a car to/from LJ. Time is too tight to have a round trip in a day for a full visit, so you can stay in Shangri-la for a night.
