About:Chinese New Year

My wife and another couple will be in HK the month of April.

We are planing to travel by train to Shanghai, Beijing, Xian and back to Beijing again. We live in USA. What is the earliest that we can purchase the tickets and how we go about?

George, the train tickets are usually sold around 20 days in advance. I think you should book your tickets as early as you can though you don't arrive in peak season.
