About:Shanghai Travel

I am a NZ passport holder, traveling from NYC to Japan and will stop in Shanghai for 14 hours.

Then 6 days later, I will come for Japan to SH again for 21 hours and then to NYC. Can I stop twice in SH and use the 72 hours for both stops?
