Chinese visa for Canadian citizens living in Finland

Hi. My boyfriend and I are both Canadian citizens but are living in Finland for the next year. We plan to visit my grandparents in China for their birthday in November. Can we apply for Chinese permit in Finland? Or must we return to Canada to apply?

You may try to apply it in Finland.
Are you free to enter Finland with your valid passport?
If so, you just need to provide your entry stamp, your valid passport, an application form with a recent taken photo for application.

If you are not free entry to entry, you need to provide your stay permit validity for more than 6 months, your passport, an application form with a recent taken photo.
