About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

HKG-PEK - overnight then LHR?

Hi, I am flying Hong Kong to Beijing, then stay at a friends over night in Beijing and 24 hours later I take Beijing to London flight. Do i qualify for transit visa?

You are qualified for the 72-hour free transit policy. You just need to take your valid passport, onward ticket to London to apply for a stay permit to leave the airport for your friend's place.
