Manila to Paris, Shanghai 18 hour layover

Hello, I'll be going to Paris from Manila (Philippine Passport Holder) and I'll have an 18-hour layover in Shanghai. I want to get out of the airport and do a day-trip in Shanghai. Do i still need to apply for a visa just to get out of the the airport? Thanks! :)

You just need to apply for a stay permit when you arrive. Then you can get out of the airport for a visit in Shanghai.
