About:China High Speed Train

Is it possible to go from Hong Kong to Hefei by rail?

I live in Hong Kong right now and want to visit my friend in Hefei. Is it even possible to go by rail? And if so, how long would it take? I do have work I can do on the train so some time doesn't really bother me (I've take 13 hour trips before).

There is no direct one available, but you can choose to connect at Guangzhou. You can go from Hong Kong to Guangzhou by rail first and then from Guangzhou to Hefei. The trip will takes at least 12 hours even you choose the G-types for the second trip.
