itinerary for 7 days at xian

Hi there, I am planning to visit from 8-15 Nov (7 days) intended to visit Mt. Huashan and Longmen Grottes.  1) planned to spend 2 nites at Mt. Huashan - is it too cold?2) Is it recommend to do day trip or overnight trip to Longmen Grottes?

1. If you just camp or stay outdoor on the mountain, it would be cold at nights. If possible, stay in a hotel, which may charge a little high. It has heating. 2. Personally, it shall be better to see the grottoes at night. However, if you have enough time, go there in the afternoon so that you can see both the daytime view and night view.
