Transit Visa for Costa Rican cityzen

Hello...I will be traveling to Thailand with one stop at Guangzhou (CAN)...do I need transit G?

How long will you stay in Guangzhou?
If it is less than 24 hours, the Transit G is not needed. If you stay longer than that, you need to apply one in advance.
