Beijing weather and shopping winter coats

This is my first time to the ciy, will be staying at Liaoning International Hotel, Haidian district.
What is the weather like and can I buy the winter coats there and any shopping centres near the hotel??

So u must wanna know the weather in winter. It will be cold and dry. Sometimes, it is also windy. The average temp in Dec. would be around 26F. Down jacket and boots would be needed.

I remember there is a Wudaokou Shopping Center within walking distance to your hotel.

This city has long chilly winter. The lowest temperature of January can dip to -4 F. Cotton-padded jackets would be needed. If you want to go shopping, Wudaokou Shopping Center is a good choice for you. :)
