About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

7 hour layover in Beijng Airport

I have a 7 hour layover in Beijing and want to go to a nearby airport hotel to shower and workout at the gym. Do I need a transit visa to do this? If so how to I get one?

To leave the airport, you need to apply for a stay permit instead of a Transit G at the immigration in the airport, because your transfering time is no more than 24 hours.
