Do electronic equipment allow through Beijing China customs

I will be traveling to BJ, China and then onwards to Hong Kong.
I plan on bringing 1 laptop, 1 Apple ipad, and 1 digital camera.
I can I bring all three items?
Can I bring both a laptop and Apple ipad?
Will they tax me on the items?
