Rafting equipment, wetsuit rental, water temperature & boat type
Hello,
I am joining the Mengdong River Rafting & Furong Town Half-Day Tour on September 14, 2026, and I would like to clarify exactly what rafting equipment is provided and what participants need to bring themselves.
Could you please confirm:
1. Is a life jacket and helmet provided and included in the rafting price?
2. Are wetsuits/wetsuit tops or other neoprene clothing provided or available for rent? If so, what is the rental price?
3. Are neoprene/water shoes or rafting boots provided or available for rent? If so, what is the rental price?
4. If wetsuits and neoprene footwear are not provided or available for rent, should participants bring their own, or is a swimsuit and ordinary water footwear sufficient?
5. What is the typical water temperature in the Mengdong River around middle of September ?
6. Is the rafting done in a large multi-person raft with a guide, or are two-person inflatable kayaks available as an option?
7. If both options are available, can participants choose the two-person kayak instead of the large raft, and is there an additional cost?
