I will go to macau for 12days and will be staying at my friend's. Do I need an invitation letter?

What should my friend put in the letter? Do I need to have a copy of her passport too to enter macau?

The invitation letter is not necessary. If you stay in Macau for less than 30 days, no visa Is needed for entering that place. So you can only use your passport to stay with your friend.

Since you have a friend in Macau, you can ask her to provide you one to make sure that you will not be rejected to enter. Personally speaking, if you can provide your round trip tickets to Macau, you can just tell the officer that you will stay in your friend's home.

I already have ny roundtrip ticket. I am just nervous that I will be refuse to enter because its my 1st time to go there and that maybe they'll ask me a proof where i will be staying. So its okay that i dont have an invitation letter?
