About:China Private Visit Visa
Do all Chinese embassies in the U.S. process S1 visas? We're having trouble with DC.

The embassy and all the consulates process the S1 types, but the embassy/consulate has the right to decide whether to issue you a S1 based on your documents. If they did not give you S1, you may be rejected by the embassy.0
