About:Chinese National Day

Tiananmen Square on 1 October 2014

Noticed from the article above that military parades to commemorate the National Day are held in small scale every 5 years and in large scale every 10 years. I understood that the last large scale military parade was held on 1 Oct 2009 (60th anniversary), hence I guess there will be a small scale military parade in 2014. I will be visiting Beijing for a week from 29 Sep 2014, and would like to watch the parade in Tiananmen Square if there is one and is allowed. May I know if there'll be any curfew on 1 Oct 2014 as how it was arranged back in 2009?

Kian, I am afraid that you may be disappointed. So far, there hasn't been any report about military parade on National Day. If there was, there should have been many reports now.
