tourist visa documents for application

Question

i am traveling to china as a tourist on 13th october from the U.K. to visit my son who resides there. I know about the letter of invite from my son but what other documents must be sent to gain the tourist L and is my pasport included in the list of documents to be sent. Thanks

If you just want to be a tourist to visit your son, you can try to apply for a Tourist L to enter China. For applying it, together with an invitation letter, you still need to provide your valid passport, an application form with your recent taken photo. These are enough for application.
