Will there be a light up on the ice festival during the test run (before 5th jan opening) in Harbin?

I understand that we can go to the preview of snow and ice festival a week before the official opening (5th jan). However, will there be a light up at night time during the test run?
What are the differences between the official opening time and the test run?
