Flying home from Beijing on Oct 1st

I am traveling to China in Mid September, and looking at flights home to the US around Oct 1st. Oddly, the flight from BJ to NYC is cheaper on Oct 1 than on Sept 30th; not sure why. How difficult/crowded would it be to get to the airport on Oct. 1?

Thanks

Jane, it depends on when your flight takes off. If it departs in early morning, then you won't meet the crowdedness on the road. It's true that the road will be very busy during the holiday. So you'd better spare enough time for the unexpected traffic jam on the road.
