About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Transit in Guangzhou, am I allowed to go to other cities

My flight is Singapore-Guangzhou-Los Angeles. Transit in Guangzhou less than 72 hours. Within these 72 hours, am I allow to go to Foshan, where is 20km (about half hour by bus or underground metro) from Guangzhou? as when I read above, it said you cannot go to other cities during the transit period.

Since you will transit in Guangzhou, you can go to Foshan during your traveling.
Except Guangzhou, it is not allowed leave the city if you transfer in other cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, etc.
