About:Shanghai Taxi

How much will it cost to book a taxi for a whole day to look around Shanghai

I am going to be there on September 5th and 6th with my elderly parents and husband and I wanted to hire a cab for the 5th to take us around the city and on the 6th to take us to the watertown Zhujiajiao. How much would it cost me to hire a cab for both days?

I remember the fee is around CNY300 per day and we hired one in 2011. Maybe the fee has climbed a little now. Just consult on your own!

Hi Gloria,

Thank you for your response. Do you have any recommendations on the place where we can enquire regarding this? I know the hotels generally quote pretty high rates.

I have a suggestion, but not sure whether it will work. (86)96822 is the hotline of Dazhong cab company (one of the most trustworthy cab companies in the city). I heard they also have English service. Just dial the number to consult. Good luck.
