can l change my x visa into z type without leaving the country?

l hold a X visa and recently got a teaching job that is ready to provide me with Z type,l carry Turkish passport.

I am afraid you can not do that. You'd better get back to Turkey to reapply or ask some agencies who are incapable of doing that in HK. However, the fee is very expensive, probably CNY 6000 at least.
