About:How to Take Shanghai Metro

One Day Travel Pass in Shanghai

Can a one day travel pass be purchased from the vending machines in the subway stations? Do these machines give instructions in English as well as Chinese. You say we can buy from from the ticket office, but I doubt that the employees speak English.

The machines have English instructions, you can follow it to buy the ordinary subway tickets.
For the one day pass, you may need to go to the counter to buy. The staff know little English, but if you only buy one day pass, they can help you. Please do not worry.
