About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

My passport is not valid for 6 months after entry, will I be allowed entry

My passport is not valid for 6 months, and I need to visit Beijing for a one-day visit (business meeting). Will l I be allowed entry into the country with the 72hr transit entry?

If you still hold the valid passport and meet other requirements of this policy, you can enjoy it to stay one day in Beijing.

It is reminded that this 72-hour free transit policy is only applicable for those making a transfering in China by taking flights. The departure and the destination countries should be two different countries.
