About:Chinese Consulate in Calgary

Transfering in China, do I need a visa?

Hi,

We will arrive Shanghai on Oct. 28-2014 4p.m.by flight, and leave Shanghai by cruise on Oct.29-2014 5p.m.

Do we need one?

Yes, you need one. You need to apply for a Transit G type since your staying time is over 24 hours.
