About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Separate tickets, can I enjoy the 72-hour visa free transit in Beijing airport

I have a flight from Helsinki to BJ with Finnair and then another flight ON A SEPARATE TICKET/RESERVATION from BJ to Ulaanbataar, Mongolia. The time between the flights is 1 hour 40 minutes. Both airlines operate from T3. What procedures must I take at the BJ airport and will this connecting time be enough? If this too short a time, will I make it if I have only cabin luggage?

Since the two flights are not operated by the same airline, the time is short. If you only has a cabin luggage and hurry up after the flight lands, you can try your best to catch the next flight. You are suggested to tell the airline that you will have a connecting flight when you are on the first flight, then you will get help to catch the next flight.
