About:Chinese New Year

Best places to enjoy the Chinese New Year in Beijing?

I am going to Beijing from 09.02 until 15.02. I would like to enjoy the celebrations of the new chinese year. Where are the best places to see the firecrackers at midnight? And where and when are going to take place all the traditional celebrations? I don't find any informations online about a program. It would be really nice if you could give me some informations. Thanks.

It is a pity that all large-scale fireworks and firecrackers are banned in the Beijing urban area. So there is no large celebration in the new year. However, the lantern show and temple fair can be expected during the Chinese New Year.
