About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Haveing South African passport and Resident permit for Russia, as I now live in Russia. Can I?

I fly into Beijing from Seoul Korea on the 17th of August and depart the next morning with S7 Airlines for Novosibirsk, Russia. How can I obtain 772 hour visa, as I would like to sleep over in one of the airport hotels?

I cannot find any hotels inside Beijing Airport, which will be my first choice and less hassles.

Can anybody advise me in this regard?

It is a pity that you cannot enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy, since you have the South African passport.
May I know when you will reach and leave Beijing? If your stay of duration is no longer than 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24 hours free transit to leave the airport and sleep one night in hotel. If the time is over 24 hours, you can only apply for a transit G type in advance for sleep outside the airport.

in the airport, there is a hourly lounge, so you can choose it if you do not/cannot go out of the airport.
