dog from sh to chengdu

hi,i am moving from SH to Chengdu and taking my dog with me. prefer to take him with us on the plane (as cargo) but heard some horror stories on domestic flights, and now prefer to take him by train. is this possible (from SH to Chengdu) and where would we have to go to get his ticket? (he has the required paperwork already)Thanks!

Yes, it is possible, but you can only take the overnight fast train that have a luggage carriage where you dog will stay during the journey. You need to have you dog consigned at the railway station and pay for the fare. Also, all the paperwork should be recongnized by the railway station. so i suggest that you go to the railway station for detailed information.
