About:China Visa Application in USA

I am a U.S. Citizen travelling from United states to Philippines then to Shanghai from may 15,2026

to may 22, 2026 then back to Philippines then go home to United states, do i need to get a visa to visit shanghai?

Yes, you need a visa. Philippines - Shanghai - Philippines is not an eligible route for 240-hour visa free transit.
