Beijing to Shanghai

How far is Wangfujing to high-speed railway station to Shanghai what train do we ride? Thank you!

You should go to the Beijing South Railway Station.
From Wangfujing, you can take subway line 1 to Xidan, and change to line 4 to Beijing South Railway Station. It takes about 40 minutes.
If by taxi, it takes at least 35 minutes (if there is no traffic jam) and costs about CNY 30.

From Beijing South to Shanghai, you can travel by the high-speed rail (G types), and it takes 5 - 6 hours and costs CNY 553 for second class seat and CNY 933 for first class seat.

Yes, it is a good idea to visit Shanghai, and it is vey convenient to traval from Beijing to Shanghai by high-speed rail.

You can book via TravelChinaGuide.com. They are one of the bests in booking tickets. As I know, they accept PayPal, Master card, or visa card. After booking with them, you can either have the tickets delivered to your Chinese address like a hotel or pick them up by your selves at the station.

You can walk to the Beijing South Station North Exit transfer center (970m). And then take the airport shuttle bus route 10 to the airport T2 directly.
