Is it safe to travel to Yunnan now?

Hi there,

I suppose to travel to KumMing at end of this month. My travel destinations cover LiJiang, Jade Dragon mountain, Lugu lake & Shangri-la. Its going to be a very excited journey, unfortunately earthquake happened at 3rd Aug.

I have been told by my local flight service Air Asia saying their flight is operating as normal. But I understand that YN local is fighting their resources to make rescues after the disaster.

Should I stick with my travel plan or make way for the rescue ?

Best regards, Chin

I am so sorry for the earthquake and hope the dead be in peace. The latest news shows that it is safe there to travel and the earthquake had little effect on local tourism. So you can stick with your travel plan. Good trip.
